Ezoushi (illustrated Story Book)
It is presumed to be made in the latter term of Edo era (1800-1870).
Its author is Sansantei Arindo and it is illustrated by Baichou-ou Kunisada. Johno Denpei used the pseudonym Sansantei Arindo as gesakusha (which means a popular fiction writer/ dime novelist)
A very rare find, not many of these have survived to this day as they were the equivalent of dime novels, not intended to be preserved or long lasting.

Condition:
Shows signs of age with stains and discolouring but this is in good condition for its extreme age - see all photos.
