A Japanese, rectangular, cotton furoshiki. This furoshiki has a beautiful kikko (hexagon) design. It has the textile artist�s signature in the form of a little rectangular, Japanese seal. Hand printed.
Furoshiki are clever, traditional Japanese wrapping cloths. Small ones are used to wrap gifts and such, larger ones can be tied into a variety of wonderful bags. They can be tied in so many clever ways and are very versatile. I have included some tying instructions in the ictures below.
