- A massive, cotton koinobori (carp windsock banner), with Kintaro (often translated as "Golden Boy",) who is a young hero from Japanese folklore
- Touches of gold detail in the scales.
- From the early to mid Showa era
- Approximately 488cm (16 feet) long
- Some stains due to age but in very good condition, see photos below. A hard to find, vintage item
- Would make a fabulous display item
- Made in Japan
Condition:
Very good some marks and no bamboo ring in mouth, which holds it open when hanging as a windsock banner outside but not wanted if hanging it as a display indoors. A metal coathanger could be used to make a new ring if wished.
Measurements:
Approximately 488cm (16 feet) long. Photo 2, below, shows a woman standing at the tail end and photo 3 shows her standing at the side of it, to give you a rough size reference
